00 – We pick you up from your hotel in Bishkek and begin the journey south.
As we leave the city, the landscape quickly changes from bustling streets to mountain valleys and green pastures.
30 – Short stop in the Too-Ashuu Pass (3,200 m) for breathtaking panoramic views and photos.
00 – Lunch in Suusamyr Valley, a peaceful alpine plateau dotted with yurts and grazing animals.
00–16:00 – Continue the drive through mountain passes, winding roads, and endless steppe landscapes until you reach Song-Kul — a stunning alpine lake sitting at 3,016 meters above sea level.
00 – Arrival at a traditional Kyrgyz yurt camp on the lakeshore. You’ll be warmly welcomed by your host family with hot tea and snacks.
00 – Time to relax or go for a short horseback ride along the lake.
You can also walk to the shore, meet local herders, take photos with grazing yaks, sheep, and horses, or simply breathe in the fresh, high-mountain air.
00 – Enjoy a homemade Kyrgyz dinner inside a cozy yurt – try boorsok, lagman, or beshbarmak, and drink kymyz (fermented mare’s milk) if you’re curious.
00 – After dinner, gather around a bonfire under the stars. The sky is incredibly clear at Song-Kul — perfect for stargazing and storytelling.
